The whole domain is codes — UN numbers, ERG guides, document references. So the type system is built around a technical voice that stays warm and readable under pressure.
Headlines and statements. An engineered geometric grotesk — confident and modern, with just enough mechanical character to feel at home in transport and logistics.
Body, navigation and forms. Plex was designed for the relationship between people and machines — neutral, highly legible, and calm at small sizes.
Every code, label and eyebrow. The mono ties the whole system to the data it carries and makes UN numbers unmistakable at a glance.
Colour maps to the job.
CTS — graphite & beacon teal
Why: CTS is the neutral backbone that connects everyone. Graphite gives it institutional weight and calm; a single beacon teal is the safety signal that runs through the entire chain — a colour that reads as "systems working, all clear," never as alarm. It deliberately sits between the cool blue of DG Vault and the hot red of HM Intel, so the parent frames both products without competing with either.
Voice: precise, calm, authoritative. Speaks in whole records and clear outcomes.
DG Vault — vault indigo & paper
Why: DG Vault's promise is security and permanence — "the vault." A deep indigo reads as trust and depth without the coldness of a corporate navy, while a warm paper tint nods to the shipping documents it replaces. Mono codes on ledger-style rows keep the document heritage visible even as it goes fully digital.
Voice: reassuring and orderly. Speaks in "once, and always accessible."
HM Intel — hazard red & signal amber
Why: HM Intel works at the worst moment of the chain, so it is deliberately the loudest system. Hazard red carries the meaning of the placards responders already read — and echoes HM Intel's own red hazard-diamond mark — while signal amber handles caution. Both sit on a near-black tactical base for maximum contrast and night-scene legibility. Type is large and plain because the design principle here is one thing: readable at a glance, under stress.

Surfaces are defined by a single hairline and a soft elevation — never heavy frames. Whitespace does the structural work.
Codes, labels and eyebrows are set in IBM Plex Mono, tying every surface to the records it carries.
Each page adopts a single product accent. Colour means something, so it's never mixed for decoration.
